Shiver is a song featured on The Prayer Chain's album Mercury.
It is the only song on Mercury that singer Tim Taber has a lyric writing credit on, though he also wrote Loverboy which was recorded in the same sessions. Taber has said that the song is about wrestling with sexual temptation.
Drummer Wayne Everett is particularly proud of the snare sound that comes in towards the end of the song.
The song was very rarely played live.
